Format: Offered Online and On-Campus

Duration: 8 weeks

MSIA 696 Information Assurance Practicum II, a SEAD (System Engineering and Application Development) practicum, is a hands-on learning extension of your current coursework. It provides you an opportunity to complete your Capstone requirements, as well as to take the knowledge you’ve gained throughout the program and put it into practice.

During your practicum experience you’ll participate in the administration and management of an IT company that maintains and supports the Academic Research Network (ARNe) at Regis University.

What You'll Learn in MSIA 696

Your work in the practicum is distributed across three areas: Operations, Research and Your Thesis. You’ll work in one of our operating groups: Access and Systems, Networking, Integrated Services or Application Development in support of the Academic Research Network (ARNe).

The research component of your work will be assigned by the faculty based on your experience and background. The research task priorities are dictated by active practicum projects and may change due to department, resource and student population.
